Helobung: Tales, Tunes, and Threads of the Tʻbolis

Preserving T’boli culture and providing a livelihood for their community in the biodiverse lands of the southern Philippines, Helobung (“endless joy”) is a wellspring and tradition bearer. Performed by five dancers and musicians, Helobung’s “Tales, Tunes, and Threads of the T’bolis” introduces and shares this people’s cultural roots and signifiers — the living traditions that continue to sustain contemporary T’bolis today.
