Center for Philippine Studies Workshops: Pinoy Food Stories & Pamana Ng Lahi
The University of Hawai’i at Mānoa Center for Philippine Studies invite you to attend for two workshops this Spring and Summer 2021!
I. Pinoy Food Stories: Evolution of Philippine Cuisine
A free online short course – from the indigenous foodways of the past to the international presence of Filipino food today.
From February 12 to March 12; and February 13 to March 13, 2021.
II. Pamana Ng Lahi Virtual Workshop on Philippine Language and Culture
A 3-week workshop that consists of:
• 15 introductory and intermediate Tagalog-based Filipino modules
• 15 Philippine cultural aspects like Philippine food, music, folklore, and more that are interactive and creative, designed to hone critical thinking skills.
From June 14 to July 2, 2021 (Monday to Friday).
