Date and Time: April 17, 2024 from 3:00-4:30pm HST

Are you interested in helping to fight climate change and promote sustainability? Want to learn more about how companies are trying to reduce carbon emissions and implement better energy policy in the Asia-Pacific region? Join us on Wednesday, April 17 at 3:00–4:00 pm HST for a conversation with Ken Haig (Head, Energy & Environmental Policy, Asia-Pacific & Japan, Amazon Web Services) to hear about how he is helping to chart AWS’s path to 100% renewable energy by 2025 and net carbon neutrality by 2040 and how you can prepare for careers in this exciting field. The discussion will be moderated by Kristi Govella (Director, Center for Indo-Pacific Affairs, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa). This event will be held online via Zoom and in person at 258 Moore Hall.
