About the Talk
While tourism in the Nglanggeran Tourism Village has been almost entirely halted by the pandemic, a cacao processing work unit run by women called Griya Cokelat (house of chocolate) continues to operate. The research examines women workers’ working conditions, their strategies in response to the pandemic, and how the pandemic shaped their lives.
