The UH System Common Scholarship Application for the 2026–27 academic year is now open. With one online form, students can apply for several hundred scholarships across all UH campuses.

Scholarships
Numerous nonprofit and private organizations offer scholarships to help students fund their college education. Scholarships are awarded based on a variety of criteria, including academic achievement, athletic talent, leadership, field of study, and financial need. As a form of gift aid, scholarships do not require repayment.

Grants
Grants are need-based gift aid that does not require repayment. Several types of grants are available through UH Mānoa Financial Aid Services for eligible students.
