Featuring Athena Mison Fulay, Senior Manager for Institutional Engagement, The Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES). Topics covered in the workshop include: Opportunities for teaching, research, and flexible initiatives in more than 125 countries; Tips on how to craft a competitive application, including how to make contacts abroad and choosing the right country and award for you; Ways to increase the international profile of your campus by hosting a Fulbright Visiting Scholar through the Outreach Lecturing Fund and Scholar-in-Residence Program. Apply by October 13 for the Fulbright-Clinton Fellowship which enables U.S. citizens to serve in professional placements in a government ministry/institution in both Myanmar & Timor-Leste. Fellows build mutual understanding while gaining hands-on public sector experience. The Fulbright-Clinton Fellowship also includes an independent academic study/research component.
