Congratulations Hieu Phung on her new Rutgers Tenure-Track Position!

Congratulations Hieu Phung, UHCSEAS Alumni on her new position as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Global Studies Asia at the Department of Asian Languages and Cultures at Rutgers-New Brunswick (to begin in Fall 2022).

The department and school works on Vietnam, Southeast Asia, and larger Asian studies issues, and collaborate on premodern environmental history/humanities and indigenous knowledge of the environment.

Hieu is currently a Lecturer with the University of Michigan Center for Southeast Asian Studies, College of Literature, Science and the Arts.
