Please join Kyai Gandrung (Javanese) and Segara Madu (Balinese) gamelan ensembles for a beautiful outdoor evening of music and dance.
Kyai Gandrung will perform Central Javanese instrumental and vocal gamelan music in Surakarta and Yogyakarta styles, as well as an East Javanese sample. Segara Madu will perform traditional Balinese gamelan music and dance, as well as feature a duo collaboration for Balinese suling (bamboo flute) and renaissance harp.
