If planning to study outside of UHM in Fall 2012 or Spring 2013, please provide program information in the following summer 2012 sections. You will also be responsible for providing the scholarships committee with an official letter of sponsorship from a university or educational organization in your proposed country of research along with an acceptance letter for admission to a language program in your host country. The deadline for submitting these two documents is MARCH 31, 2012. Please be aware that applicants in this category are given lowest priority in the award selection process. Additional material can be mailed to chizuko@hawaii.edu. Summer FLAS applicants do not need to complete this section.
