The Asian Studies Program presents a special lecture from 2010-2011 Woodrow Wilson Fellow Dr. Patricio Abinales.

SPEAKER BIO:

Patricio Abinales, Ph.D., is a professor of Comparative (Southeast Asian) and American Politics at the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Kyoto University. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of the Philippines (U.P.), Diliman and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Government from the Department of Government of Cornell University. Aside from Kyoto University, Abinales also taught and did research works at the University of the Philippines, Cornell University, Ohio University, and Kobe University.
