Filipino-American History Month Short Film Screening

The Graduate Student Organization (GSO) and Ethnic Studies Student Association (ESSA) present a screening of Short Films in celebration of Filipino-American History Month!

Join us as we watch contemporary short films by Filipino-American filmmakers: In This Family, The Second Province, Anito & Caramel Child.

Stay for a conversation with Adrian Alarilla, PhD Student in History & director of Diwa Filipino Film Festival in Seattle, Nadezna Ortega, PhD Student in Political Science & Lecturer in the Ilokano Language & Literature Program, and Germaine Juan, Student in Computer Engineering.
