Fulbright Opportunities – Closing Soon!


via the Fulbright US Scholar Program:

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers teaching, research or combination teaching and research awards in over 125 countries for the 2018-2019 academic year. While the deadline to apply has passed for most awards, a select number of opportunities remain open for new applications until Tuesday, September 12th. Opportunities are available for college and university faculty as well as for professionals and independent scholars.

Philippines – All Disciplines

Apply to teach and/or conduct research in the Philippines over three to five months! This award is open to academics and professionals in their preferred discipline. Applications are particularly sought in civic education, urban development, environmental sustainability, international relations, and peace and conflict studies, among others.

Singapore – All Disciplines

Experience the multicultural society of Singapore with a grant to teach and/or conduct research over three to six months! Scholars who require multiple visits to Singapore may propose a Flex Award grant over a period of one to two years.

Thailand – All Disciplines

As a hub of communication due to its geographic location between mainland and maritime Southeast Asia, Thailand is an ideal location for scholars and professionals to continue their scholarly journey! Over four to six months, grantees will be able to teach and/or conduct research in this multicultural setting.

Burma – All Disciplines

This award offers scholars or professionals to, teach or teach and conduct research in their preferred area of specialization. Over four or 10 months, grantees will experience a society with high aims to develop access to and participation in its higher education system.
