Welcome Dr. Collantes (Post-Doc)


The Center for Southeast Asian Studies is pleased to welcome Dr. Christianne Collantes, who will be doing post-doc work at the UH Mānoa School of Pacific & Asian Studies beginning in Fall 2016. Dr. Collantes graduated from the Centre for Gender Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, in 2016. Her dissertation is titled:

“Gender, Global Economic Development and Intimate Lives: Exploring Reproductive Dilemmas in Metro Manila and Cavite, Philippines”

Aside from post-doc research, she will also be teaching ASAN 493 Globalization in Asia in the fall (MWF 830-920, Moore Hall 204).
