Formed in late 2006, I Mean The Snakes (IMTS) are Brunei Darussalam’s first Indie Band with influences from Depeche Mode and The Cure to C.S.S. and The Rakes, they are truly original and come off sounding genuine and freakishly unique with their catchy indie-rock art-pop songs. IMTS are powering a music scene that is dance friendly and accessible to all ears. The Band has their own style including vintage tee shirts, skinny jeans, outlandish footwear and retro-gadgets.

Indie new wave punk electro taking references from bands such as franz Ferdinand, the killers, Bloc Party, White Rose Movement, the knife etc to more older music like duran duran, depeche mode, the cure, the clash and joy division They are considered by some to be the first band to create a hipster scene in Brunei. Their music is quirky, intelligent, very tongue in cheek. –last.fm
