Following on the heels of the sleeper hit It’s A Great Great World comes Dance Dance Dragon (helmed by Kat Goh and produced by Great Great World director Kelvin Tong) another offering from the Singapore film scene.

In this story, 84-year-old Mother Loong (Lai Ming) pesters the gods with repeated prayers that she will one day get a Dragon Year grandson who will take over the family dragon dance troupe before speculators steal the land under their rehearsal studio. Mother Loong finally gets her wish when a baby boy magically turns up on their doorstep on the first day of the Year of the Dragon – and proceeds to bring both chaos and comedy to the household.

As scheming relatives are determined to prove that the baby is not of the Loong’s bloodline, a useless chef and gambling addict (Adrian Pang) stumbles into the Loongs’ lives adding yet another challenge to this seemingly cursed family.
