This film explores the resistance to the French of the “Brown Shirt” leader. Despite bloody suppression by the French the group led by Hoang Hoa Tham won many victories creating fear among the French. Hoang Hoa Tham became more powerful when he had his wife, Mrs. Ba Can, work as a powerful and firm consultant. The revolution expanded nurturing the idea of a free Viet Nam.This film features two powerful actors: Doan Dung (as Hoang Hoa Tham) and Tra Giang as (Mrs. Ba Can).
